Takoradi-based gospel musician Efua Black is on a mission to spread hope and support. Following her successful HOLY GHOST Concert last month, Efua Black is continuing her journey by visiting the Sekondi Female Prison. On Saturday, June 24th, 2023, she will donate essential items, lead worship sessions, share a meal, and provide legal aid alongside a team of female lawyers.
Recognizing the need for legal assistance among the incarcerated women, Efua Black has enlisted the help of female lawyers to join her team during the visit. Together, they will listen to the inmates’ stories, offer legal advice, and provide support, emphasizing the importance of justice and fair representation.
The visit aims to empower the inmates by helping them navigate the legal system and find pathways to rehabilitation and reintegration into society. Efua Black’s act of compassion and legal aid demonstrates her commitment to uplifting others and offering second chances.
Efua Black’s visit to the Sekondi Female Prison will leave a lasting impact on both the inmates and witnesses. It serves as a reminder that through music, ministry, and access to justice, positive change can be achieved. Together, we can create a more compassionate and just society.
